Custom Design Orders

Location. Please be mindful that we are located in Kansas City, MO. We serve everyone, but shipping costs will be applied.

Check Out. Please include garment details in the comment box when submitting an order. Garment details include fabric type, color, and any additional notions such as appliqués, zippers, buttons, elastic, etc. Please also include your budget and timeframe.

Contract Agreement. All clients are required to review and sign a client contract agreement, which serves to protect both the client and the seamstress throughout the process. A copy of the agreement will be provided for your records. During the production phase, all updates— including design adjustments, notions, trims, and estimated costs—will be communicated via email to ensure clarity and alignment. If you would like to review the agreement in advance, please email us at CahrisBoutique@gmail.com.
- Fittings. Depending on the garment, all clients are required to attend a minimum of two fittings. The first fitting includes a detailed garment review, precise measurements, and contract signing to ensure everything is aligned. During the second fitting, clients will try on their garment while we make any final refinements. If no major adjustments are needed, the garment will be ready for pickup, perfectly tailored and complete.
- Online Virtual Orders. Depending on your location, custom fittings may be limited for online orders. Each garment is meticulously crafted based on the measurements provided in the client contract agreement or our standard size guide (XS–XL, etc.). For the most precise fit, we recommend submitting professional measurements with your order. Made-to-order garments typically take 3–6 weeks to produce, depending on the complexity of the design. When placing your order, please include your phone number, email address, and detailed garment information—including size, fabric type, notions, and any special design requests—in the comment box at checkout. Once your order is submitted, we will reach out via email to schedule a personalized video consultation to review your details and finalize the client contract agreement, ensuring your garment is tailored perfectly to you.
- Payment. Full payment is expected at the time of the client’s first consultation or fitting. Estimated costs are listed under each service and typically include materials and labor for most basic designs. Design costs may vary depending on the style, quality of fabric, and additional notions. Please review the contract agreement carefully for full details regarding design payment. Work on the garment will not begin until full and confirmed payment is received.
- Returns. All custom orders are final, and no refunds are available; however, we uphold a 100% client satisfaction guarantee. Clients are required to try on their garment(s) to ensure they are happy with the design and fit. If you are uncomfortable with the fit or design, please communicate your concerns as soon as possible. We are happy to make adjustments if additional work is required to achieve your desired outcome.
