Cahri's (pronounced car-ree) Boutique was established on October 1st, 2021, in Kansas City, MO. We specialize in handmade contemporary garments, custom designs, and precise alterations. Rooted in motivational empowerment and sustainable fashion, we inspire our clients to discover their personal aesthetic while embracing an unapologetic essence. We are queens—and our aura is unmissable, effortless, and felt.

Our team is dedicated to uplifting our clients by cultivating confidence, self-awareness, and authentic style. We help individuals express their values, character, and inner glow through their outward appearance. Our slogan, “Serving Unapologetically,” embodies the belief that confidence isn’t optional; it’s your everyday runway energy.

Our company champions the importance of sustainable fashion. We strive to advocate eco-conscious practices while collaborating with brands that share our values. The fashion industry isn’t yet fully sustainable, limited by current technology, which is why we need innovators to create new fabrics and machinery that are kind to the environment. Sustainability exists on many levels, and its impact is truly in the eyes of the beholder. At Cahri’s Boutique, we do our part by crafting garments from natural or recycled fabrics and sourcing high-quality donated materials – all while keeping our prices accessible.  

The Owner 

Carly Queen is a force in motion—seamstress, designer, and fashion visionary. She embodies everything you need her to be – and then some. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, she picked up a needle at 15 during a semester in home economics and soon accepted into the North Technical School two-year Fashion Design program. While formally trained, Carly defines herself as largely self-taught, refining her craft through hands-on exploration and fearless experimentation.

In 2013, she moved to Kansas City, MO, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Design is her passion, her therapy, and her purpose. Every piece she envisions is a deliberate act of artistry, a challenge to innovate, a chance to tell a story through fabric, texture, and silhouette, and an opportunity to push the boundaries of her creativity.
